Finding the perfect fit can be daunting, but our experts have put together a 3 step guide to help you measure correctly and choose the right style and shape that's perfect for your look.
Step 1
MEASURE
For best results, use a soft measuring tape to find the circumference of your head. Most sizes of headwear are listed in centimeters or inches. Our styles will be listed in centimeters.
Gently, wrap the soft measuring tape around you head based on the way you would like to style your hat.
TIP: If you don't have a soft measuring tape a string will work well also.
We recommend getting two different dimensions. One measurement for Traditional style and one for the Halo style.
Step 2
PICK A STYLE
Halo Style
This style of wearing your hat is called a Halo. The front of the hat is raised and the back of the hat sits lower. This style shows a bit more underbrim from the front.
TIP: When measuring for this style start just above your hairline and wrap around to just above the nape of your neck.
Traditional Style
This style of wearing your hat is traditional. It's aligned with the ground and the front of the brim rest just above your eyebrows.
TIP: When measuring for this style start just above your eyebrows and wrap around the back of your head keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground.

Most San Diego Hat styles come equipped with sweatbands that have an internal draw string to adjust the fit to a smaller size. Some other styles may have an internal tab that you can pull and tighten. Typically, these styles will allow you to adjust your hats up tp 5 cm tighter.
