I just bought this hat to wear on a cruise because I wanted something less structured and lighter weight than a typical cowboy hat. Also, this one has a handy lanyard to keep it in place in the wind. Brilliant! I am very happy with it. It arrived on schedule and secured in a great hat box that I will keep to protect it. The brim was curled too tightly for my style, but was easily manipulated. When I made the purchase, I wasn’t sure if I would like it because there were no images of it on a real person, so I’m including a couple for those of you who prefer to see it in “real life.” For those of you who may ask, it is not packable. The crown is soft, but rigid enough that packing will bend it. I’m wearing mine on the plane!
Got this hat several years ago and it’s still going strong. Bought another one as a back-up because it’s a favorite for blocking sun. Brim is wired so you can change it to your liking- flatten it out or cowgirl-it-up. Lightweight, well-made & sturdy. Chin strap holds-no slipping! Comfy!
1st found this @ an outdoor Market in Little Italy. Was in SD as a parent guardian for a decade. Bought 2; 1 for me, 1 for daughter. That was easily 15 years ago. Maybe more. Wore it daily, & upon returning to Colorado Rocky Mtns (my home) it's made it thru every hike, all gardening, all outdoor activities, Including 2 8-day raft runs down the Colorado River and 2 raft trips thru the Grand Canyon. I'm always asked where I bought this great hat. Both hats have held up, until this year. Still works fine, but the grommet holes for the 'chin strap' are starting to tear a wee bit. Glad to find it on the 'web'. It arrived 3 days after my order, even with the many delivery problems we're having in our state. I'm pretty tickled.
I bought this had about 5 years ago. It is the best. Look's good. Lots of compliments. My last one began showing wear so I decided to get another one and was so happy to find it. My last one saw some rough use at Burning Man and camping and still looks good.
